For the love of language…
One day, many years ago, there was a little girl on a school bus. She noticed the bus making a new stop. At that house, a new little girl got on. This little girl, Edith, didn’t speak English. She only spoke Spanish. The first little girl didn’t know why, but she felt a strong desire to communicate with that girl and thus her love for the Spanish language was born.
That little girl was me, when I was in elementary school. From that moment forward, I began pursuing ways to learn Spanish. In elementary school, I repeatedly borrowed a Spanish-English picture dictionary from the school library. Until the point that the librarian made me return so someone else could have the chance to borrow it. In high school, I took all offered levels of Spanish. And in college, it was one of my majors. I later obtained my M. Ed in teaching languages.
I now have over 14 years of experience teaching Spanish and/or English as a Second Language. My love of one language has allowed me to meet and serve so many people.
The people that are led to me always seem to share their life stories and/or what is going on in their lives. So, what starts out as a language lesson becomes a life lesson. I become their counselor, so to speak. This led me to obtain my life coach certification.
So, whether you’re interested in language coaching or life coaching, you’ve come to the right place. I was born to encourage and help others.
